Mission

The Mann Before and After School Program (BASP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care for families with children in Pre-K through fifth grade. Operating under an Interagency Agreement with the ICCSD, Mann BASP proudly upholds a commitment to inclusivity, ensuring a welcoming environment where no child is discriminated against based on sex, race, color, creed, national origin, or ethnic background.

Before School Hours
Monday - Friday : 7:00 am - 7:50 am

After School Hours
Monday - Friday : 2:55 pm - 5:45 pm
Thursday : 1:55 pm - 5:45 pm

Day Camp Hours
7:30 am-5:30 pm

Camp Goosetown Hours
7:30 am-5:30 pm

Weather Guidelines

The program will not operate when school is dismissed early or canceled due to water main breaks, heating failure, electrical problems, weather, etc.

Camp Goosetown

Summer program

Camp Goosetown will operate
from June 15- August 7, 2026 and will 
be closed on June 19 and July 3.  

Hours: 7:30 AM -5:30 PM

Field trips

Our camp goes on numerous local and state wide trips. We hire a chartered bus for our long trips and take the school bus or walk around the Iowa City area.

Registration

Opens to the public on April 1.
Registration is based on a first
come, first serve basis.
