Mission
The Mann Before and After School Program (BASP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care for families with children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program is licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services and is managed collaboratively by a volunteer parent board and a childcare director. While the program carries insurance, it operates without its own financial resources. In addition to before and after school care, BASP offers a summer program featuring safe and enriching activities, as well as full-day care on conference days (staff availability permitting). Mann BASP operates under an Interagency Agreement with the ICCSD and proudly upholds a commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that no child is discriminated against based on sex, race, color, creed, national origin, or ethnic background.
